Our Story
Our aircon company, Jex Aircon, was founded in 2015 by two Mechanical Engineering graduates who experienced firsthand how slow and overpriced aircon services in Singapore could be. They started with one car, two founders ready to get their hands dirty, and a simple goal, do the job properly and charge a fair price.
Over 10 years later, that same approach still drives everything we do. Unlike many aircon companies in Singapore that rely on freelancers and contractors, we train every technician in-house. Every job is handled with the same technical knowledge and care our founders set from day one.
We are also one of the most affordable aircon companies in Singapore. By operating online and keeping our overheads low, we are able to offer transparent, competitive pricing across every aircon service we offer, with no hidden costs and no surprise charges. 2. What is the difference between a standard aircon cleaning service and an aircon chemical wash?
A standard aircon cleaning is a routine maintenance service that removes dust and dirt from the filters and surface components. An aircon chemical wash is a deeper clean, the unit is dismantled, soaked in a chemical solution to remove mould, bacteria, and stubborn buildup, then reassembled and tested. A chemical wash is usually recommended if your aircon hasn’t been serviced in a long time or is no longer cooling effectively.
3. What are the aircon servicing packages you offer?
Our aircon servicing packages are priced by the number of indoor units, from $50 for a single unit to $124 for six units. We also offer tri-yearly and quarterly maintenance contracts for households that want regular, hassle-free servicing throughout the year at even more affordable prices. 4. Does Jex Aircon offer aircon repair?
Most common aircon issues, such as poor cooling, water leaking, weak airflow, or unusual smells, can be resolved through servicing, a chemical wash, or a gas top-up. No repair will be required.
For older or frequently faulty units, we will honestly advise if a replacement is more cost-effective than repeated repairs in the long run. WhatsApp us and we will recommend the best solution for your situation, whether that’s a service we offer or by directing you to the right help.

By operating online, we keep our overhead costs low and pass those savings directly to our customers. Our technicians are trained in-house to do the job quickly and efficiently, and are paid a monthly salary rather than per job, unlike freelancers and contractors. This keeps our costs consistent and our quality high, without the need to charge a premium.
