Jex Aircon Terms & Conditions

1.Standard Installation

All standard air conditioning installations include:

• SWG22 copper piping
• Armaflex Shield CX insulation (½")
• Keystone / Sigma communication and power cables
• 16mm PVC drain pipe

Additional materials, piping extensions, trunking modifications, electrical works, or non-standard installation requirements may incur additional charges.

2.Warranty

• All installations are covered by a 3-Year Installation Warranty provided by Jex Aircon.
• Air conditioning equipment, including indoor units (FCUs), outdoor units (condensers), compressors, and spare parts, are covered under the respective manufacturer’s warranty terms and conditions.
• Any existing concealed piping, electrical wiring, drainage system, trunking, or building infrastructure not supplied and installed by Jex Aircon is not covered under the installation warranty.
• All warranties shall be void if the equipment or installation has been tampered with, repaired, serviced, or modified by any unauthorized third party.

3.Booking Deposit

• A booking deposit is required to confirm all installation appointments.
• Deposits are strictly non-refundable once payment has been made.
• Any request to reschedule must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled installation date.
• Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

4.Payment Terms

Payment may be made via:

• PayNow (UEN: 201532800E)
• DBS Bank Transfer (Account No.: 0199067143)
• Credit Card (A 2.5% processing fee applies for payments made using our portable credit card terminal. The outstanding balance must be paid on the installation day before any air conditioning equipment is unboxed and before installation works commence.)
• Credit Card Instalment Plan (A 3.8% processing fee applies for instalment payments made using our portable credit card terminal. The outstanding balance must be paid on the installation day before any air conditioning equipment is unboxed and before installation works commence.)

No processing fee applies to booking deposits paid through our online payment gateway.

The outstanding balance, after deduction of any deposit paid, must be settled on the installation day before any air conditioning equipment is unboxed and before installation works commence, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Jex Aircon reserves the right to postpone, suspend, or cancel installation works if the outstanding balance is not received before work commences.

A late payment charge of 2% per month may be imposed on overdue balances.

5.Dismantling & Disposal

• Complimentary dismantling and disposal are provided when replacement units are supplied and installed by Jex Aircon.
• If dismantling or disposal services are requested separately, the following charges apply:
  • Indoor Unit (FCU): $50 per unit
  • Outdoor Unit (Condenser): $100 per unit

6.Site Survey

• A complimentary site survey may be arranged prior to installation.
• Our site surveyor will assess the installation requirements and advise on any additional works or charges based on site conditions.
• Any revised costs will be reflected in an updated invoice before installation.

7.Installation Confirmation

• The Customer or the Customer’s Authorized Representative must be present on-site during installation.
• Equipment locations, piping routes, trunking positions, and related installation details must be confirmed before work commences.
• Any changes requested after installation has commenced or after completion may incur additional charges.

8.Goods Sold

• All goods sold are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
• No cancellation, refund, or exchange shall be permitted after installation has been completed.

9.Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for non-standard installation requirements, including but not limited to:

• Extended copper piping
• Additional trunking
• Concealed piping works
• Electrical upgrades
• False ceiling access works
• Scaffolding, boom lifts, or safety requirements
• Difficult site access conditions

Customers will be informed of any applicable charges before work proceeds.

10.Price Validity

• All quotations and prices are valid for 14 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
• Jex Aircon reserves the right to revise prices after the validity period due to changes in supplier pricing, material costs, or market conditions.

11.Invoice

• An official soft copy invoice will be issued for every order and shall serve as proof of purchase and warranty reference.
• Hard copy invoices will not be provided unless otherwise requested.

By confirming an order, paying a deposit, or making full payment, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
